Starting from 6' x 4' Potting sheds can go up to 12' x 8' and beyond. Or you can combine them which is what some customers have done. Check some out below.

Some potting sheds are the perfect size for you do have a shelf along the back. All depends which direction your building faces.

7'x12' Potting Shed

7' x 12' Potting shed combined with storage shed at the back and metal box profile sheets on the roof.

Being 12' deep meant there was room for a division and additional door. Which you can just see on the side.

11' x 18' Combined Potting Shed

Installed Spring 2022 this combined shed with a potting shed at the Apex end was a new style we hadn't built before. If you have a challenge for us, let us know and we can see what we can do.

12' x 7'6" Potting Shed

Having a 12' long potting shed enables plenty of space for seedlings to grow.


You can also opt for stable door instead of the standard door.

Bespoke Potting Shed

Customer requested the windows be smaller than our standard ones. Not only did we carry this out, we also installed an additional window to the side as the size allowed us to do this.

Potting shed

Potting Sheds are very popular for schools as well. Another outdoor learning possibility.

Potting Shed with mesh

potting shed used as a cattery for a cat rescue place in Bryncoch. Mesh instead of the perspex but option to put perspex over the top during the bad weather so it can still be used.

This building is for cats. The mesh instead of the perspex ensures the animals stay safe. With the Welsh weather you can pop on perspex so the inside doesn't get soaking wet.

10' x 6' Pent Shed

This is a standard pent shed with 5 of our modern windows aligned down one side. Perfect to use as a potting shed!

9' x 7' Potting Shed

Installed with a stable door this allows you to open the top making sure the inside doesn't get too hot.

16' x 7' Potting Shed combined.

14' x 8' Potting Shed

14' x 8' Potting shed. Should have 7 panes of Perspex but the customer wanted the two edge ones blocked off. This was done.

Installed early October 2022 the 2 end windows were planked up at the request of the customer. Due to the size of this one, it wouldn't affect the growing season. The stable door was added onto this; again stops any dogs from going inside or small children but the air won't get as hot if it was closed.

The inside of this potting shed had an opening window on the opposite end of the door. We can carry this out on most buildings, however, check with us when you are placing your order as we do not build windows right up to the corner.

The internal and external heights on an apex building will vary depending on the size of the building, the heights below are based on an average 6' x 4' (1829mm x 1219mm), 7' x 5'(2133mm x 1524mm) shed.

Internal:
  • Eves: 5'10" (1778mm)
  • Centre: 6'9" (2056mm)
External:
  • Eves: 6'4" (1930mm)
  • Centre: 7'3" (2210mm)
PENT:
On most pent sheds the fall on the roof is roughly 6", again this can vary.

Internal:
  • Highest Point: 6'6" (1981mm) 
  • Lowest Point: 6'0" (1829mm)
External:
  • Highest Point: 7'0" (2133mm) 
  • Lowest Point: 6'6" (1981mm)
